Trekking
Taplejung is one of the most beautiful areas in eastern Nepal with spectacular landscape, Himalayan peak of heights above 7000 m and a wide range of flora and fauna. Mt. Kanchanjunga (8586 m), the world's third largest peak lies in this region. Alpine grassland, rocky out crops, dense temperate, subtropical forests, and no river valleys make up the region. Geographically speakingm, Taplejung occupies an area ranging from 670 meters to 8586 meters (Mt. Kanchanjunga ) above sea level. One of the major attraction that lies in this area is the Pathibhara Devi temple. This secret region attracts tourists seeking spiritual fulfilment and blessings from the powerfull Pathibhara Devi. Hindus as well as the Buddhists reach the temple for celebrations during special occasions. The trek to Pathibhara Devi (3794 m) combined with the natural and cultural experiences of the region make the visit a unique exhilarating experience.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Your arrival to Kathmandu Airport:
Upon arrival we provide you Airport pick up service. Overnight at 3 star hotel in Kathmandu (Bed & Breakfast).
Day 02: Drive/fly from Kathmandu to Suketar:
Drive/fly from Kathmandu to Suketar which takes about one hour. Trek from Suketar to Deurali and it takes approximately two hours. While trekking you can observe the surroundings and local lifestyle along the trail.
Day 03: Deurali to Phedi:
Trek from Deurali to Phedi which takes almost five hours. You can watch different birds along the trail. On the way you are quite fascinated by mountain views and sceneries.
Day 04: Phedi to Pathibhara:
Trek from Phedi to Pathibhara and it takes about three hours. On the same day you trek back to Phedi which takes almost two and half hours. You visit Pathibhara devi. On the way you can encounter various species of birds. From Pathibhara you can enjoy mountain views and sceneries.
Day 05: Phedi to Suketar:
Trek from Phedi to Suketar which takes about five hours. On the way you observe surroundings and local lifestyle. You visit local monastery. Moreover you can taste local drinks and food.
Day 06: Fly from Suketar to Kathmandu and it takes one hour:
Day 07: Kathmandu free day of your own:
This is the free day and you can use it for your shopping .In the evening we will drive you for farewell dinner with cultural dance.
Day 08: Final Departure:
All too soon it's time to bid Nepal farewell and one realizes that we can never be intimate, only acquainted with this amazing adventure kingdom
