The Blissful Moments with Sora Adventure and Expedition Nepal

For those wanting a feel of the Khumbu region then the ascent of Pikey Peak in the less-visited Solu region will be a cherished experience. Lying just to the south of the original Everest Trail from Bhandar we pass through authentic Sherpa villages. From the Linkhu Khola we climb steadily through terraced fields, on the trail we find rhododendron and magnolia forest. We now leave the villages behind us and ascend further through hemlock firs to the cheese factory at Ngaur. The following day we climb ascend the summit of Pike Peak giving spectacular views of Gaurishankar, Thamsherkhu, Number Himal, Makalu and Everest. Highlights of the trekking: Get to the top of a mountain and catch the amazing views of the Himalaya; Monasteries; Sherpa and Tamag lifestyle and culture; dense forests of Pine, Rhododendron, Sal Dupi, juniper for incense.

Day to day Itinerary:
Jiri - Pike Trekking -Phaplu (Camping Trek)

Day 01:  Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Day 02:  Drive to Shivalaya about 7/8 hours O/N camp at Shivalaya (1955m).
Day 03:  Trek to Deurali 5 hours walk (1770m) camp.
Day 04:  Trek to Goli 7 hours walk (2190m) camp.
Day 05:  Trek to Ngaur 6-7 hours walk (2980m) camp.
Day 06:  Rest in Ngaur (3350m) camp.
Day 07:  Early morning excursion to Pikey Peak (4070m). Himalayan range views from Pike and continue to Khuni Khop( 2360m) camp.
Day 08:  Trek to Phaplu. 4 hours walk (2470m) Camp.
Day 09:  Excursion tour to Thupthen cholung monastery, back to Jun Besi walk 6-7 hours (2800m) camp
Day 10:  Visit to Chiwang monastery 3000m and trek to Phaplu and Camp or Lodge
Day 11:  Fly to Kathmandu, 35 minute by airplane, transfer to hotel.
Day 12:  Free day for own shopping. Evening together Nepali dinner with culture program.
Day 13: Transfer to International airport.

Optional Itinerary for Pikey Trek:
Pike Trekking (by bus Kathmandu to Shivalaya and back to Kathmandu) (Camping Trek)

Day 01:  Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to Hotel.
Day 02:  Drive to Shivalaya about 8/9 hours O/N camp at Shivalaya(1955m).
Day 03:  Trek to Deurali 5 hours O/N camp.
Day 04:  Trek to Goli Gumba 6 hours O/N camp.
Day 05:  Trek to Ngaur 6-7 hours O/N camp.
Day 06:  Trek to Pikey 5/6 hours(4070m). views Himalayan range O/N camp. 
Day 07:  Trek to Lhamuse 6-7 hours O/N camp.
Day 08:  Trek to Phapre 6/7 hours O/N camp.
Day 09:  Trek to Dhemba danda 6/7 hours O/N camp.
Day 10:  Trek to Bhandar 6/7 hours O/N camp.
Day 11:  Trek to Shivalaya 5/6 hours O/N camp.
Day 12:  Drive to KAthmandu 8/9 hours. 
Day 13:  International departure.

Cost includes:

Airport transfer, accommodation in Kathmandu before trekking and after trekking.
Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley with professional guide and private vehicle. Kathmandu to Jiri by bus.
All Camping equipment: Tents, sleeping materials, mattresses.
All necessary staff: guide, porters, Sherpas, cook and their allowance, insurance, salary, medical expenses.
Kitchen gear, 3 meals per day prepared by our cook.
